There is a new scholarship opportunity available for students who want to study in China!
The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) is offering the Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program (Chinese Government Scholarship). The program aims to develop leaders with a broad international horizon, outstanding comprehensive quality, excellent leadership, and cross-cultural background in global governance. It targets senior business officials, business diplomats, and senior business managers from developing countries who have experience in business administration. Through the program, students will gain knowledge of international economic cooperation theory, international economic policies and environment, development tendency of international economic cooperation, and economic trade policy system in China.
Available Programs
MIF Program
Program Name: Master of International Finance (referred to as MIF)
Scholarship Funding: One academic year with full scholarship
Eligibility:
Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens, under the age of 45 years old, with good physical and psychological health.
Bachelor degree or above, more than 3 years working experience. Those with related education or working background will be preferred.
Should be the middle and senior management staff who engaged in the government departments, institutions,enterprises, and colleges or research institutions; work at the international organizations or have relevant work experience.
English good enough to take courses taught in English. Non-native English speaking Applicants must have English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL (IBT) 86 and above level.
Be potential in related professional development and willing to promote communication and cooperation between China and other countries.
Training Mode:
Class Teaching: Considering the particularity of the composition of participants, MIF program adopts lectures, case studies, speeches, tutoring and other forms of flexible and diverse teaching methods;
Business Visits: To enhance participants' understanding of the Chinese financial and business environment, MIF program provides regular arrangements for trainees to visit Chinese financial supervision departments, commercial financial institutions, economic development zones, E-commerce enterprises and internet financial businesses;
Cultural Experience: In addition to a monthly trip to rural suburbs of Beijing, MIF program also plans arrangements and study tours for participants to go out of the capital to experience Chinese culture.
Course Arrangement and Credits
1) Combined with theoretical and practical teaching, the curriculum is designed to enhance students’ problem-solving abilities.
2) The curriculum of this full-time master program includes a compulsory module (28 credits), an optional module (8 credits) and the graduation thesis (6 credits). One should acquire 42 credits to get the diploma.
MIEC Program
Program Name: Master of International Economic Cooperation (referred to as MIEC)
Admission Areas: Developing Countries formally set up diplomatic relationship with China
Scholarship Funding: One academic year with full scholarship

Seminar: This program will regularly invite Chinese government officials, business executives and scholars to hold lectures on hot issues at home and abroad and discuss matters in depth with students.
Cultural Experience: In addition to a monthly trip to rural suburbs of Beijing, MIEC program also plans arrangements and study tours for participants to experience Chinese culture.
Course Arrangement and Credits
1) Our course arrangement emphasizes combination of academic theories and practice in an effort to promote students’ ability to solve problems.
2) This full-time master program course arrangement includes compulsory courses (22 credits), elective courses (6 credits), seminars (4 credits) and business research (2 credits), requiring 34 credits in total.
Academic Structure and Teaching Language
1. Academic Structure: One year. The following is the detailed schedule:
Fall Semester: early September - the end of December (14 weeks)
Spring Semester: late February - the end of May (14 weeks)
2. Teaching Language: English.

Application Documents:
Applicants should submit the scanned copies of the following documents:
Photocopy of the first page on the passport (Should be the ordinary passport with the validity date after Sept. 30th, 2023).
Personal statement of research (Should include relevant work experience and study plan, with a minimum of 500 words in English).
CV in English.
Copies of notarized highest degree certificate(s) (Written in Chinese or English).
Copies of notarized academic transcript(s) (Written in Chinese or English).
Two recommendation letters from the applicant’s employers and/or professors. Telephone numbers and email addresses of the referees must be included in the letters.
Employment verification.
Photocopy of TOEFL 86 above or IELTS 6.0 above or official letter of English proficiency, or passing the telephone test by UIBE faculty.
Foreigner Physical Examination Form (Written in English, can be downloaded from the attachments). The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.
Certificate of No Criminal Conviction.
Note: Scanned copies of the documents will be sufficient during the application period. Originals or verified copies will be required upon enrollment at the universities. All documents should be in Chinese or English and be originals or notarized copies. All documents are not retrievable.
